The shock of turning 62.....

This is my first time...............
Do you believe that I really said that? It's been many years since I said those words the first time, actually it was kind of fun to say it again.
"Am I really old"? I am starting this blog to share some of my thoughts and feelings about growing old, and different experiences I have had over the years and how it has effected me. And to see if anyone else out there has some of the same feelings.
I turned 62 this month and it seems to have put me in a tail spin. You see I married my husband when I was 18 years old, one year out of high school. I was 18 and he was 26, so you see I was always the "young one" in the group of friends we asociated with. I guess at that age you really never think you will turn 21 let alone 62, but here I am. I made it to my first Social Security check!
Hopefully I will talk about some things that will be interesting to you and you will find yourself sharing some of my thouoghts and feelings too.
